This dialog allows you to specify a username/password to access a file. The password field will not show the characters, so people can't watch what you type. If you enter the wrong password, another authentication box will appear. If you choose Cancel the entire operation will be aborted.
The username and password are cached until you exit the program, or until they fail to provide access. In that case, NaviPress prompts for a new username and password.
If you have been presented an authentication dialog and choose to ignore it, other dialog boxes will be suppressed until you attend to the authentication dialog.
NaviPress will not exit until all authentication dialogs have been dismissed (either by being cancelled, or by typing in a correct username/password).
Usually, all the files in the same directory will be controlled by the same username/password, and once you have entered it the first time NaviPress will know to apply it to other files in the directory.
